The path from being an incoming Erasmus student to being a member of the Intern
Hello everyone, my name is Iryna Rozmaita. I am a new member of the Institute for Diversity Studies and International Relations at the Pädagogische Hochschule Steiermark. Let me tell you a little bit about me. I am 19 years old and I am from Ukraine. I took part in the Erasmus programme. Last semester I studied in Graz. I really liked this city and the people who live here. The last term inspired me to stay abroad for a longer period of time.
You may ask Yourself “Why did I choose Graz?” To answer this, it is simple to say that Graz is that Graz is the second largest student city. However, there are many reasons for choosing Graz. The first reason is its location of the city. It’s not too far from Vienna and has some pretty cool connections with other European cities. The second reason has to do with the nature. Graz is such a green city, surrounded by the Alps, the beauty of the place is heartbreaking. The third case, I would say, is the people. The Austrians are so gentle and they are always ready to help anyone who needs it.
I am a third-year student at a Ukrainian university. In my home institution I study languages – English and German. I think that languages are very important in my life. It is not only my field of study, but also my passion.
I would be very happy to discover new things and share my experience in the future.
